Your first-day setup checklist
The settings to complete before you take your first booking.
Work through these steps in order. Each one links to a detailed guide.
1. Company basics
- Settings → Business: add your business name, phone, contact email, website, address, logo and brand colours. Set your Time zone. Until you do, reports use UTC days. See Business profile and time zone.
- Settings → Regions: create one region per operating location (for example, each depot). Every vehicle belongs to exactly one region. See Regions.
2. Get paid
- Settings → Merchant Accounts: connect Stripe so you can take card payments. See Connect Stripe.
- Settings → Taxes & Fees: choose a tax source (none, manual rates or TaxCloud) and add any mandatory fees. See Taxes and fees.
- Settings → Security Deposits: decide when deposits are requested and whether you accept cash. See Security deposits.
3. Build your fleet
- Settings → Vehicle Categories: create the categories you rent by (for example, Motorhomes and Travel Trailers).
- Fleet → Rate Plans: create at least one rate plan so vehicles have a nightly price. See Rate plans explained.
- Fleet → Vehicles → New Vehicle: add each vehicle, then complete its tabs: location, listing, photos, rules and internal info. See Add a vehicle.
4. What you sell at checkout
- Settings → Add-ons & Fees: add extras like linen packages or generators.
- Settings → Insurance: set up the protection plans renters can (or must) buy.
- Settings → Fleet Documents: add your rental agreement, cancellation policy and other terms.
- Settings → Delivery Locations: add campgrounds or other places you deliver to, each with a flat fee.
5. Go live
- Settings → Webpage Settings: set your booking page URL, branding and (optionally) a custom domain. See Your public booking page.
- Settings → Email & Domains: authenticate your domain so emails come from your brand.
- Settings → Users: invite your team and give each person a role.
- Settings → Integrations: connect RVshare if you list there.
