Rate plans explained
How nightly pricing works in Fleetsync, including seasons, priorities and what applies where.
A rate plan sets the base nightly (per-day) price for a date range. You’ll typically have several, for example:
| Rate plan | Rate | Dates | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak/High Season | $190/day | Apr 29 – Aug 30 | 5 |
| Off-peak/Low Season | $150/day | Aug 31 – Dec 31 | 5 |
| Burning Man 2026 | $250/day | Aug 31 – Sep 8 | 5 |
Create a rate plan
Fleet → Rate Plans → Add Rate Plan, then fill in:
- Name
- Priority: 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). When more than one plan covers the same date, the higher priority wins.
- Base Rate ($/day)
- Start Date and End Date (both required)
- Vehicles: the specific vehicles this plan prices
- Categories: the vehicle categories this plan prices
- Applies to: Whole fleet or Specific regions
Click Create Rate Plan.
View, edit or delete
On the Rate Plans list, use the ⋮ menu → View Details, Edit Rate Plan or Delete Rate Plan. You can filter the list by vehicle or category, or search by name.
A plan’s detail page has three tabs:
- Overview: base rate, priority, dates, duration, and assigned vehicles and categories
- Rate Modifiers: discounts or surcharges. See Rate modifiers.
- Pricing Rules: stay restrictions. See Pricing rules.
Where you’ll see the result
- Each vehicle’s Calendar tab shows the nightly rate for every day.
- Quotes show a Daily Rates Breakdown naming the rate plan behind each day.
- Your booking page shows the rates on each vehicle listing.
