Rate modifiers: length-of-stay and advance-booking discounts

Rate modifiers adjust a rate plan’s price based on the booking.

Open a rate plan → Rate Modifiers → Add Modifier.

Field	Options
Modifier Name	For example “Weekly Discount” or “Weekend Surcharge”
Modifier Type	Length of Stay (by how many nights are booked) or Advance Booking (by how far ahead the booking is made)
Minimum / Maximum	The range of nights (or days ahead) the modifier applies to. Maximum is optional.
Priority	1 (lowest) to 5 (highest)
Adjustment Type	Percentage (%) or Fixed Amount ($)
Rate Adjustment	A positive value adds a surcharge. Enter a negative value for a discount.
When does this modifier apply?	Always, a Date Range, Specific Days (of the week) or Range + Days

Click Create Rate Modifier.

Example: a 10% weekly discount uses Length of Stay, minimum 7 nights, Percentage, −10, Always.
