Work order costs, expenses and owner statements
Record what a job cost and how much the vehicle owner pays.
Recording costs matters most for consigned vehicles. What a job cost is subtracted from the owner’s monthly statement. If you leave the cost out, the owner is paid a share of revenue that the cost should have come off first.
A completed work order with no cost shows a reminder banner with a Record cost button.
