Why do numbers differ between reports?

Revenue, income and transaction totals measure different things.

Different reports measure different things, so their totals won’t always match:

  • Reservation Details → Total Revenue adds up the booking totals of reservations departing in the range.
  • Reservations Summary → Total Income, End of Day and Transaction Log count payments actually processed in the range.
  • End of Day and Transaction Log exclude external payments, for example bookings paid on a marketplace.
  • The Dashboard’s Payment source filter (All, FleetSync or External) changes which revenue is counted.
  • Days are cut at midnight in your fleet’s time zone (Settings → Business). If no time zone is set, reports use UTC, which can move late-evening transactions to the next day.

Cancelled bookings, refunds and payments taken in a different month from the rental also cause differences.
